We solicit and encourage you to contact us if you would like to license our intellectual assets, explore cooperative development, or if you are interested in becoming a supplier or service provider. Furthermore, we are interested in learning about new ideas and technologies that will help meet the needs of our consumers. We will share our intellectual property to help other companies do the same.
We are at the start of our business plan, so the breadth of services for which partnerships will be formed in 2012 is significant. UPPERcase is committed to developing profitable relationships with an eventual ‘Preferred Partner Program.’ The following provides the answers to frequently asked questions on how to get started as a valued business partner with us.

What is UPPERcase?
UPPERcase is a newly formed company with an aggressive business plan to take a new invention and product to market. We are seeking business relationships with key suppliers and service professionals to get final product designed, manufactured, in showrooms and supplier catalogs, onto store shelves and into our customer’s homes and businesses.
Is UPPERcase interested in licensing intellectual assets?
UPPERcase is keenly interested in licensing our intellectual assets for specific industries and geographies. We also invite ideas that provide an opportunity to extend our IP to products that are aligned with your targeted markets. UPPERcase ‘Target Markets’ and the associated time-frames will always be listed at the top of this web-page. Equal attention and consideration will be given to licensing our assets for your markets.
Will you entertain cooperative development?
If the business and economic model are beneficial, UPPERcase will formalize cooperative development agreements. We expect this to go through the proper development phases before formalizing or finalizing an agreement. The areas of interest for UPPERcase include the following:
- Partners with custom services and engineering capabilities for:
- springs (coil, gas, pneumatic, etc.)
- component machining
- sheet metal fabrication (stamping, punching, forming, welding, bending)
- fine blanking
- die casting
- plastic cabinet molding
- wood cabinetry
- Fabrication of the above
- Assembly and packaging
- Installation services

Do you need alliances with Suppliers?
Yes, we solicit volume pricing of standard hardware suppliers for components such as:
- cable fittings
- pulleys
- bushings
What is an UPPERcase ‘Preferred Partner Program'?
UPPERcase is committed to attracting and growing with partners who demonstrate the following characteristics:
- Product innovation;
- Collaborative culture;
- Best-in-class pricing, quality, and service;
- Relentless pursuit of improving people, processes, and safety.
Partners demonstrating both these characteristics and the capability of supporting more than one location or geography may realize expanded sales by leveraging opportunities from several UPPERcase business markets. Some of our partners will eventually be syndicated in a Preferred Partner Program across our business units. Those suppliers growing with us and achieving this designation will be supporting many of our business requirements and thus enjoy significant potential growth as a result. Our goal as a corporation is to cultivate key partnerships for more than 80 percent of our total spend. We invite you to propose and nurture a business relationship that has probability of developing into a Preferred Partner relationship.

What if I have an innovative idea utilizing UPPERcase assets?
Do you have game-changing idea using our products that addresses unmet consumer needs? Do you have a novel way of applying our technology to improve a process? By all means, we’d like to hear from you. Please create a brief proposal explaining your innovation.
What locations are you interested in developing partnerships?
Company headquarters are in Texas. Engineering and Operations are in Utah. However, our business plan is to develop key relationships both domestically and internationally. We will source services where they are the most competitive. Don’t let your company’s physical location defer you from submitting a proposal for a business relationship.
Why should I partner with UPPERcase, Inc?
The linear extrapolation and up-side potential is simple: if we're growing, you're growing! We believe in generating synergy and allowing companies to work together to maximize their combined impact. The alliances we make are just as important to us as they are to you, so we only engage in efforts that leverage the complementary strengths of both companies.
What are the expectations of your partners?
New products are the key to our growth, and as a supplier or partner, we expect you to continuously provide new product ideas, improved processes and promotional pricing to UPPERcase. New product ideas and concepts are critical to collectively growing our organizations in a sustainable and profitable manner.
What is your process for proposal review?
We will review all proposals, and communicate if your proposal fits within our business plan. If your proposal fits our strategic plan, and has economic merit, but is outside our current tactical plan, we will consider modifying or appending our plan or time frames.
If we are interested in your proposal, we will contact you to begin exploration within 14 days. We will also provide you with an UPPERcase Executive as a primary contact to further discuss your interest and next steps. Our first objective will be to learn more about your company and to provide you with access to our technical data if the proposal merits it. We are willing to sign a non-disclosure, and expect you are authorized and willing to do the same. If we choose not to proceed with your proposal, we will contact you to let you know of our decision.
We give priority to submissions in areas where we have expressed an interest or have issued a specific request for information or proposal. We will consider submissions that relate to subject matter that we have not requested (‘unsolicited ideas’) on an availability basis.
How do I get started?

By submitting a proposal, you agree that we may contact you about this and other topics via e-mail, phone, fax or mail. You may opt out of our contact database at any time. Do you have a sample proposal I can look at?
Yes. UPPERcase is happy to suggest a format and content. Depending on the scope of your product and services, the submittal may vary in the content needed for evaluation. Following are the types of submittals we solicit.

Request for Proposal (RFP)
Being aware of the value of your time, we suggest a simple write-up of no more than one page as an introduction. It should explain the suggested scope of your services and capabilities, and your proposed interest in business with UPPERcase, Inc. in an executive summary fashion. We will then participate with you in completing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and in developing the needed RFI, RFQ or RFP response.
Terms and conditions of your submittal.
You confirm that all of the following statements are true and that you understand them before you send a submission to us:
- Your submission directly addresses an area of interest as listed on this website.
- Only non-confidential information is included in your proposal.
- If UPPERcase is interested in further discussions about your proposal, UPPERcase will contact you, usually within 14 days of your proposal.
- You are legally permitted to make this proposal, and are either the owner of the technology or an authorized representative of the owner.
- You understand that no contract or agreement exists between you and UPPERcase unless executed by both parties in writing. This includes any brokerage, finder’s fees or similar commission-based fees.
- Any financial consideration, if any, shall be determined at a later date in a separate written agreement.
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- Your submittal includes the following paragraph (cut and paste):
"I acknowledge and agree that submission of this information to UPPERcase, Inc. does not impose any obligation of any kind on UPPERcase or any of its affiliates, including without limitation any obligation to review or evaluate the information, to enter into any negotiation, or to enter into any relationship or agreement with the submitter. I also acknowledge and agree that nothing shall prohibit UPPERcase or its affiliates form entering into any relationship with others, including any relationship concerning products or services that are similar to those presented in this submittal. I also acknowledge and agree that this submittal is on a non-confidential basis, and UPPERcase and its affiliates will have no obligation with respect to this information including no obligation to return this information. By sending this submittal, and notwithstanding any other provision of this website, I agree to these conditions for submission and represent and warrant that I have the authority to bind the person or entity making the submittal."
